Any of you Bay Area peeps going to make it? I almost said candlestick dont even know the name of the field they use now.I realize asking for a bobblehead is too much but it'd be neat to at least hear about it. Come on! Baseball and the Grateful Dead. Doesn't get more American than that

The Giants Suck!!

Sorry. I feel obliged to make that comment. You see while entering the gates of Candlestick Park for Game 4 of the 1989 World Series, the Giants' security confiscated my mom's green broom. I vowed at that moment to smear the Giants at every opportunity. No brooms at a sweep????? F'ing communists!

Of course we know who got the last laugh. And the Giants......still trying to win one. Handing a championship to fans from LA who tote Rally Monkeys must have hurt badly.

Maybe they can put the Jerry Garcia Bobblehead in their empty trophy case?

I'm an A's fan as well Flow. Who the hell wants to wear a winter coat to a baseball game anyway?

We just tanned your hide in a sweep , hf . No green brooms , I'm afraid . We are to good for brooms. We just collect rings . But , I can see that you need to take satisfaction where ever you can , in the situation that you are in . It's O.K. hf . ( Somewhere over the rainbow )
It's tough playing baseball in a football stadium . So much foul room .

Yankee arrogance knows no bounds ( '79 - '95 was a tough stretch though )

I miss Billy Ball, and this guy too... those were the days to be a fan.

(oops - never tried to upload an image, and apparently don't know how). Here's the photo:

My brother is going to the game with his brother in law. His brother in law is a Cubs fan so it works out well for them. I'm not even in 2500 miles of SF so I'm gonna have to live vicariously through him.
